Animecon 2017 is a 52 hour non-stop festival featuring Japanese movies (animation and cinematic), video games, competitions, concerts, theater performances, workshops, presentations and the selling of art and merchandise. The doors will be open from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.

Animecon is an annual and fast growing anime festival promoting Japanese pop-culture. Animecon 2017 will be held from Friday 9 till Sunday 11th of June. On saturday there will be a special indie showcase. Animecon is looking for exhibitors!

Indie Saturday

Animecon started the Indie Saturday in 2013 as a podium for Dutch independent developers to showcase their game to the public. This is done in a friendly and secure environment on the busiest day of their festival with a visitor count of over 15,000 last year.
The indie corner will be open from 10:00 – 18:00, buildup is possible from 09:00.
