Series one: Preparation and orientation

If you want to work in the game industry it is helpful to have an idea how games are made, even if you don’t have a technical background yourself. Especially for people looking for a marketing, PR, or other business position it is useful to have some insight in the development process of a game. Read more.

Series two: Application process and interview

Before applying to a job posting, do your homework. Know what games the company makes, what people work there, what technology they use, and what role you want to fulfill in their team. Also, consider why the company needs your skills. If you don’t fit all the requirements (yet) that are listed in the job posting, apply anyway. Read more.
