Dutch Game Garden created Summer Game Dev for ambitious students that like to challenge themselves in the summer holiday. Summer Game Dev is a special week where game development students and business students from various universities work together on a playable game.

During Summer Game Dev, you increase your skills, you get valuable contacts in the industry, and you learn about commercializing your own game concept. On Monday, we make team based on the roles of the participants. Ideally, a group consists of a programmer, designer, artist, producer/business person, and an audio person.

During the week, experts from the games industry will coach you. Besides making a game, you also get talks from professionals and we visit a game studio. At the end of the week, a jury will judge all the games and the pitches. The winning team gets a prize.
