This month a group of 25+ Dutch games industry professionals launched a new initiative to fund games in The Netherlands. The Midgame Fund (midgame.fund) is only open for Dutch initiatives in the €10,000 – €150,000 investment range. A prototype, vertical slice or working version of the game is obligatory as well as a dedicated team member who will take on business and marketing tasks. All other terms are developer-friendly, and the risk of the investment lies with the investors. Besides funding the Midgame investors will also help with their experience and connections. The Midgame Fund aims to invest in 4 to 10 projects each year.
