Dutch game studios Vlambeer and Game Oven, both housed in Dutch Game Garden, have been nominated for the Independent Games Festival (March 5-9 in San Francisco)!
Vlambeer received a nomination in the Best Mobile game category for Ridiculous Fishing, while Game Oven grabbed a Nuovo Award nomination for their saucy iPad game Fingle. The Nuovo Award rewards unconventional game design, something that Fingle has in spades.
Proun, which is Joost van Dongen’s pet project that won a Dutch Game Award for Best Original Game Design last year, received an honourable mention in the category "Excellence In Visual Art".
Dutch Game Garden congratulates all finalists with their nomination. Of course, we hope they manage to grab those awards during the Festival in March.
