Games made in Dutch Game Garden have been nominated for seven awards at the Dutch Game Awards 2015. The award ceremony will be held September 30th at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht.

2-person game studio Vlambeer is nominated in 3 categories with the action roguelike-like Nuclear Throne: Best Entertainment Game Design, Best Music & Audio Design, and Best Economic Achievement. Fast-paced real-time strategy game Interloper from Monogon Games has a nomination for Best Entertainment Game Design as well. Another nomination in the Best Music & Audio Design is Swartzshield by Spektor and Claynote, that is based in Dutch Game Garden. Monobanda Digital and Active Cues get a nomination for Best Serious Game with Tovertafel, a game that stimulates physical and social activity with elderly in middle to late states of dementia. The local cooperative exploration game RITE of ILK by Turtleneck Studios is nominated in the Best Student Art Direction category.

INDIGO games

Games that previously have been showcased at INDIGO have also received nominations for the Dutch Game Awards 2015. Swords & Soldiers 2 by Ronimo Games is nominated for Best Core Entertainment Game. Heroki by Picomy gets nominations in both the Best Art Direction and Best Technical Achievement categories. Finally, the platform adventure game Kick & Fennick by Jaywalkers Interactive is nominated for Best Entertainment Game Design.
