By Mahdi Bahrami

To my mother, who spent her youth weaving carpets: Farsh is a puzzle game in which the player needs to roll up and unroll a carpet to get to the end of each level. The carpet can be rolled onto rotating tiles, which steer the carpet in another direction. Farsh (Persian for carpet ) was created by Iranian student Mahdi Bahrami, who studies International Game Architecture and Design in Breda, the Netherlands. As a way to cope with his homesickness, he made this game in a couple of weeks. Out now on iOS.
