More than a thousand visitors attended the fourth main edition of game showcase INDIGO. These included gamers, day trippers, industry veterans, VIP’s and other enthusiasts. At the Utrecht city hall they could all play more than 25 games made by developers from the Netherlands.

INDIGO took place on Saturday September 28 in the Utrecht city hall. It is the biggest event in the Netherlands where game creators have a place for themselves to shine. Besides commercial entertainment games and indie titles we showed a collection of interactive performances and serious/applied games. Dutch Game Garden organises INDIGO every year.

Unique chance

For the studios exhibiting their games, INDIGO is a unique chance to get face to face with their audience. “For us it was a great opportunity to showcase our game to a large, dedicated audience and have it tested by everybody”, says Pascal van der Heiden of studio Codeimp. His team was featured at INDIGO with their game Rampage M.
“It was the first time we made our game publicly playable so the feedback we managed to collect was very valuable. Besides that, it was a great moment to get in touch with other professionals in the games industry.”
INDIGO was organised together with the Netherlands Film Festival. Our media partner is Control Magazine.
