JP van Seventer, managing director at Dutch Game Garden, talks about his experience from when the Dutch games industry was in its infancy. An informative and often hilarious talk about a time when there were no game design study programs, no incubators or tools like Unity to make life easier.

JP shares with the audience how he built all levels for the infamous Redcat title without playing them and confesses that his all-male team knew nothing about horses when they made girly horseback-riding sim My Horse and Me. Which incidentally was the first ever Dutch Wii game. So there you go.

Talk recorded at Control Gamelab #10 on February 25th, 2014.
