HKU offers various game programs, including Game Design and Development, and Interactive Performance Design.
Utrecht University (founded in 1636) has more than 30,000 students. The university consistently scores high on several indices that measure teaching and research quality. The program Game Technology is the only technical Bachelor’s program in the Netherlands on academic level that mainly focuses on games.

Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht is a leading educator in graphic media and a professional educational institute with an eye for social change and development. The GLU offers two programs for future game designers: Game Artist and Game Developer.
International Game Architecture & Design (NHTV), Breda
NHTV is an international university of applied sciences which initially focused on tourism and recreation. Today it is a large educational institution with an important game component, found in the program International Game Architecture & Design. This is an English-taught program with a practical approach.

The Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences is an important institution for higher education in the capital of the Netherlands. The program Game Development is a study track of the Computer Science program, in which the focus is on the technical or programming side of game design.
The NHL in Leeuwarden is one of the leading higher education institutions in the north of the Netherlands. The program Communication and Multimedia Design trains students to become versatile professionals in the field of games, interaction, communication, and advertising.
Saxion Hogeschool Enschede
With the program Game Design & Production, the Saxion University of Applied Sciences is an important link for the games industry in the east of the country. The program combines technology, creativity, innovation, and human sciences together. It is part of the course Creative Media & Game Technologies.
Dutch Game Music
DutchGameMusic is an initiative of knowledge institutions, agencies, and companies operating in the Dutch games and music industries. DutchGameMusic aims to make the music in games – and its creators – more visible and to create an overview of the Dutch game music climate.
Zo-ii (Zuraida Buter)

This innovative conference and networking concept was welcomed enthusiastically by more than 500 visitors at its premiere in 2013.
