The Overkill is a 48 hours nonstop festival which regroups an art exhibition, a selection of indie games, an alternative movie program, live performance and many activities such as workshops, master class, talks… all selected around the theme “Immortality” and presented together in an original and immersive setting.

The Overkill is an open platform, a flexible space for creative minds to meet and an intense time to share thoughts and experience. Together with their partners, The Overkill is bringing together artists, creative thinkers, developers, students, and professionals to explore the edges of the gaming culture. Playing is the core element of the event, where game a is a source of socializing, a diplomatic tool, a stress releaser, a way to learn or master things and an amazing way to spend our time!  Visitors are invited to participate, try out, watch a debate and create, transforming the festival and their experiences. An intention of the festival is to present art and artists in a playful way, looking for new and real encounters. To do that The Overkill uses a popular tool (video games) to make the public more aware of its content, its power and its artistic manipulations.
