After 3 years, Games4Diversity is joining the Utrecht Canal Pride again! Their colorful pride boat hosts up to 50 queer game developers and allies, breaking stereotypes by showing the game industry’s most vibrant side! 

ABOUT THE THEME

In the last years, we have dressed as our favorite game characters, and we’ll keep doing that. However, it’s time to push the boundaries. Participants are invited to experiment with the gender stereotype of their favorite game character. What would a feminine Link, a masculine Princess Peach, or an androgynous Aloy look like?

Expect a colorfully decorated boat where you will see game characters in a different light. A boat where everyone is welcome to show their own interpretations on those characters. We celebrate games as an expression of diversity in gender, sexuality and love. You’re in charge of the controller, it is really YOUR party.
