23apr17:0018:30Game Design Theory (Part 2) "The Game Designer in Context"

Event Details

You are invited to join this ten-part series of lectures/discussions based on the Native Game Design theory. What is Native Game Design theory? It is a practical design theory developed at the HKU University of the Art Utrecht. The theory, besides being a very practical approach, also transcends technology specifics. The theory is applicable to all games, including video games, board games, pervasive games, theatre-based games, applied games, etc. These lectures/discussions do not require you to be a game designer or knowledgable about the games industry, but it will be more relevant if you at least know games like pac-man, super Mario bros., chess, football, and monopoly. Sign up here!
