During the Appathon Game Jam Ziggo and Liberty Global challenge you to built an HTML5 game to be deployed on Ziggo\’s Horizon Box. 

In 2 days time (you are allowed to prepare), Ziggo and Liberty Global challenge you to built a great HTML5 game with a focus on bringing the TV to the center of the living room as a social game device, which can (ultimately) be deployed on the Horizon Box, Ziggo\’s internet and television settop box.
The development of your game will be done on the Raspberry Pi (enables easy deploying, fast rebooting). Your game will most probably also need to be presented on a Raspberry Pi.
Prizes:
About 20 teams (3-4 persons) will battle for the 3 winner spots:
– Winner 1: HTC Vives for the complete team (max. 4)
– Winner 2: Samsung 360 cams for the complete team (max. 4)
– Winner 3: Electronic Skateboards for the complete team (max. 4)
The 3 winners will be invited by Liberty Global to ready the game for the Horizon Box and receive (seed) funding and guidance from Ziggo\’s tech department in order to get this done! Aka, a partnership between you and Ziggo! Additionally, every participant will receive a well-stocked goodiebag with a Raspberry Pi and more.
The event is all inclusive (breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, sodas, etc.). The venue will be open on day 1 until about 3am and open on day 2 with a breakfast again in the morning.
