Bandai Namco Entertainment and Bandai Namco Studios are now announcing “The Second GYAAR Studio Indie Games Contest” for indie game creators!

The aim of this contest is to actively support indie game creators and stimulate the further game industry. The 1st contest was held in 2022, where one platinum award and seven prize-winning games were selected.
For the second contest, talented and outstanding works also will be selected and we plan to offer a total of up to 100 million JPY in support funding to those works as well.

In addition to it, Bandai Namco Group will fully support the creators with their strength and years of acquired know-how.

Blastmode received support in 2022
In the 2022 contest Dutch developer Blastmode was one of the winners with their fishing RPG ‘Sea Sniffers’.

This December everyone that has locally playtested their game in Rotterdam have been invited and will be nominated for prize categories. With over 40 games and a community nomination, it’s going to be a surprise who will win the top 3 spots!

Every first Wednesday of the month, Dutch Game Garden hosts a free networking lunch for the Dutch game industry in Utrecht. It is an opportunity for creative professionals, teachers, project leaders, future interns, students, potential clients, and others interested in the industry to meet, mingle and share their projects and questions.

Want to showcase a game live during the Network Lunch and get valuable feedback? You can and it’s free, but we have limited spots available each lunch.
Dutch Game Garden can provide an office desk with a screen and power sockets or an INDIGO Cabinet, but please note that you need to bring your own laptop and mouse/keyboard/controllers.
