Three (partly) Dutch games have received nominations and honorable mentions at this year’s Independent Games Festival.

The prestigious Independent Games Festival (IGF) is an award show held during the yearly Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. The IGF celebrates the most innovative indie games in the game industry. The adventure game Lumini by Speelbaars, who has been part of the Dutch Game Garden incubation program, has a nomination for Excellence in Audio.

Another contender for an award is Kingdom by the Dutch noio and the Icelandic Licorice. They got a nomination for Excellence in Design and honorable mentions for Excellence in Visual Art and Excellence in Audio.

Finally, there’s mobile local multiplayer game Sentree by the Copenhagen-based Glitchnap. The Dutch illustrator Liselore Goedhart made the game’s cute visuals. Sentree got an honorable mention for the Nuovo Award.
