Dutch Game Garden (DGG) will be joining the Dotslash community in Utrecht as of April 1st 2020 and will be relocating to Europalaan 400. Joining this thriving startup hub enables DGG’s companies to be near other innovative startups and all of their networking opportunities. DGG will bring in a cluster of game companies specialized in combining art and design principles within a technology structure to build entertainment. The proximity of other types of companies situated in Dotslash will bring new insights, knowledge and creative exchange with other sectors.

Dotslash focuses on creating workplaces with a strong sense of community. Housing over 100 start-ups, scale-ups, partners (corporates) and investors they created a stimulating space in the Utrecht region where entrepreneurs and their employees feel comfortable and can develop optimally. Dotslash organises events and knowledge sessions around themes relevant to start-ups and scale-ups. Earlier last year tech venture builder Holland Startup already made the move to Dotslash.

Peper in je Pand ceo Jelle Drijver who negotiated the deal between Dotslash and Dutch Game Garden states “Bringing in this internationally recognized game cluster into our scene enhances the creative energy already running through the veins here”. He adds “we believe this collaboration will open new doors to successful entrepreneurship amongst our members”.

Netherlands based game data company Newzoo predicts the global games market to reach $150 billion in 2020. Managing director of Dutch Game Garden JP van Seventer states “Reaching this global audience as a Utrecht games company from within our cluster vastly increases the chances of success as all the expertise needed to do this is within reach of our network. Dotslash provides the ideal launching pad with its superior infrastructure and tech driven environment”.
