On June 27th, at INDIGOx, Dutch Game Garden presented the Games Monitor 2018 to leaders of the games industry and the press during its xCAPTAINS track.
Managing Director JP van Seventer kicked off the new xCAPTAINS track and presented a brief history on the Games Monitor. He finished his speech by thanking all partners involved in the creation of the research report. Christel van Grinsven, Operations Manager at Dutch Game Garden, presented the numbers and findings of the report. She highlighted insights such as the growth of the industry and the growth in employment. After the presentation, the findings were discussed by two separate panels. The first panel shared their thoughts on the results of the Games Monitor 2018 and answered questions about the overall state of the industry. This was followed by a second panel addressing matters on scaling up within the industry and sharing insights into specific cases.
