The most important innovation is the synergy between the serious game (software that contains the prescribed breathing exercises and can also perform long function measurements), the spirometer (used as a real time game controller for the serious game), and the interface for the healthcare professional (to monitor the patient’s progress and also enables professionals to easily modify exercises and adjust therapy).
