A grand total of 133 games has been submitted for the Dutch Game Awards. The nominations for this years’ award ceremony will be unveiled at the Control Gamelab live talkshow in venue Pakhuis de Zwijger on Wednesday October 31st.

There are 14 different categories this year, among which newcomers like the Guts & Glory Award and the Best Animation Award. Looking at the submissions, there is going to be a lot of competition in the categories Best Visual Design and Best Original Game Design, each with more than 50 entries. Besides well-known companies sending in their games, there are plenty of startups and young studios who decided to give it a shot and submit their games. On 22 November the prestigious Dutch Game Awards will be handed out during the Control Industry Dinner.
