Jeroen van Mastrigt
Utrecht School of the Arts professor Jeroen van Mastrigt is the founding father of Europe's first dedicated master and bachelor programmes in Game Design (Ma/Ba Game Design & Development @ HKU). He directs HKU's research group on Art & Technology and he heads 'Playground' a research lab at the department of Art, Media & Technology that focuses on design research & development concerning innovative game-applications. Jeroen is in the board of the Centre for Advanced Gaming and Simulation: a leading edge research centre in which Utrecht University, TNO and Utrecht School of the Arts collaborate in advancing the state-of-the-art in games & simulation.
