We're happy to announce INDIGO 2017! Our annual showcase will take place on June 30 2017 at a very special location: De LiK, a former prison. Save a spot in your calendar to play games in prison cells!
INDIGO is the largest independent games showcase in the Netherlands, with a selection of unique, outstanding games made by international developers. INDIGO 2016 saw 1600+ visitors in one single day, including developers, students, fans, publishers, press, and other industry professionals. Play games in a former prison
De LiK is an event location in the middle of Utrecht that served as a prison from 1856 until 2014. Due to a drop in crime, the building stopped serving as a prison. The original prison vibe is still there, and contributes to a one-of-a-kind experience at events. At INDIGO, you will be able to play games in cells and explore the former prison grounds.
We encourage any type of game - PC, console, mobile, VR, AR, applied games, playful installations, and games with alternative controllers - to apply. The registration is open until May 12, 2017.
