About Dutch Game Garden
Dutch Game Garden's mission is to create employment and economic growth by stimulating the games industry in the Netherlands. Through our facilities and myriad services we help startup game companies establish themselves, promote the healthy growth of their studios and further the development of high quality games.
What is it that we do?
Some of the most talented game studios from the Netherlands call (or have called) Dutch Game Garden their home. Examples include Abbey Games (Reus, Renowned Explorers), Vlambeer (Luftrausers, Ridiculous Fishing, Nuclear Throne), RageSquid (Action Henk), Digital Dreams (Metrico), Self Made Miracle (Penarium) and Ronimo Games (Awesomenauts, Swords & Soldiers). The assorted mix of creativity is what makes Dutch Game Garden a prime hub for game development in the Netherlands.
We guide promising young studios through our startup support program. By drawing upon the expertise of skilled mentors, each startup learns a great deal in a short amount of time. Within the online and offline network of Dutch Game Garden there is a continuing exchange of lessons learned between studios, entrepreneurs, financers, knowledge institutions and government bodies. We also offer affordable and flexible housing in our business center for established game companies looking for an inspiring place.
Dutch Game Garden organizes events and projects to foster innovation, promote the exchange of information and help game developers from the Netherlands get exposure for their titles. All these activities add up to more than the sum of their parts, assuring Dutch Game Garden is unique in the Netherlands and abroad.
Dutch Game Garden is supported by the City of Utrecht, the Province of Utrecht and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Commission.
